    Winter BGR

Does anyone know how today's planned winter round attempt is going on? I won't say who it is though they are an existing club member.

Looks like good weather for it as well. If he's on schedule then he'll be somewhere around Scafell as of now (1230)

Yes it's happening Bob. Last news I have is that the attempt was on schedule at Dunmail on a CW Round.

Just seen a tweet that he's left Honister on, or ahead of, schedule.

He's going well, am I correct in thinking he's done a winter round before?

That is a brilliant run from Jim. Well done.

I was with him on the second leg and he was going really strongly. We got to Dunamil in 6 hours 50 mins. Conditions were good for a winter round but it was claggy, with a surprisingly strong wind on top and we had to concentrate to make sure we did not loose any time.
