    Unhappy Weather is news

Is it just me or every time we have a windy day with rain does it make news headlines?

Its been like this for the last 50 years to my knowledge.

It's what defines us as a nation. BTW, it's quite windy here with squally showers.

Only newsworthy if the windy day with rain is south of Watford!

I think the weather is much more worthy of the news than most of the sh!te that's on it. I rarely catch the news, I don't have a tele, don't check the news sites and now and then I hear it on the radio and that just reminds me how crap it is.

    Little moan there

I don't go outside when it's wet and windy anymore.

    Far too dangerous.

Rainy with a bit of wind here.

Ever since I did a recce of the Cutthroat to Snake 'bit' of the High Peak Marathon in a blizzard (which buried the Pennine Way) with IanDarkpeak a few years ago, all weather is a bit on the mild and meek side to be honest

Few miles on the bike, heavy rain and winds. Good training I thought.

Stolly that mention of a recce reminds me of one I may have read on here last year? Involving a landrover, snow, and a bitter cold?

    Quite right Nav

Light Drizzle and only a moderate breeze 800ft in the Pennines.

    Just a normal winters day.
