    guisb woods 27th

    anyone been in the woods round guisb in the last 48 hours?? whats the snow conditions like? i have a feeling today would have been ideal conditions but with a thaw 2moro could make things sketchy for mondays race

    Rev, you forgot to mention you ran a well for 13th position , not bad for someone who has been injured, and also that the three lap course was flippin brilliant, brakes off on the downhill section in thick snow:w00t: ,,, excellent.
    Lets hope Captain Cooks race is in similar conditions.

    Anyone having a crack at this tomorrow ? Just wanted a bit of shoe advice. X-Talons or Roclites ? Cheers !

    tough question Jez, it used to be 100% fell shoe required, but I'm not so sure now as the course had to be changed due to tree felling obliterating the fantastic descent on the old route. Im not sure if the old route is now ok to use again, so take some trail shoes id say incase you are on the new alternative route

    It is the new route again tomorrow so no real need for fell shoes as the descents are pretty gentle. Having said that I'll be wearing x-talons as I don't have any trail shoes! See you tomorrow.
