    Hi All,

Its only 6 days till my first ever race. Everything is going to plan at present I have all the marshalls and equipment ready. Just a quick heads up to anyone who is coming. Parking at the Staff of Life pub is very limited so if possible if people could car share would be brilliant. Anyone coming from burnley direction, it may be best off parking in cornholme and walking down (The Waggon and horses pub is approx 10 minutes away). Anyone coming from todmorden way, there are various small car parks around the lydgate/robinwood area and it would be great if people could use these, then walk the 5 minutes to the pub. We will have marshalls out to assist with parking but please be sensible, no parking on the main road between Jumps Road and Knotts Road unless a marshall directs you.

Many Thanks Hope to see a few forumites there.

Only 3 days to go till Orchan Rcks now. Please can people car share if possible as there is limited parking. Spoke to the police today and they will pop up so anyone parking illegally could be in some trouble. Please don't endanger the race running again and follow the instructions of the marshall's.

Only 1 day to go now people till my first race. The weather is looking ok with only a 20% chance of rain and we may even get sunshine. I think i have everything in hand and all the marshalls are prepped.

As above can people please car share if possible and also do not park illegally. Please follow the marshalls instructions or you may be disqualified from entering. Parking is available in the Lydgate area either on the roadside or in one of the small car parks. Anyone coming from Burnley please park at the Waggon and Houses pub at cornholme and walk down (its less than 10 minutes walk).

Hope to see some familiar faces and hopefully some new ones as well. Please say hello I will be the one dashing round madly.

    Hi everyone,

The weather is looking mixed, it might be sunny or could be cloudy, there is even a small chance of a shower.

Can people please bring the following kit, a windproof top, hat and gloves. You may need to carry these if its looking like it will rain. There will be confirmation of kit requirements at registration.

    See you all later on.

Cracking race tonight, many thanks to Dan and his helpers. Really well marked course with plenty of happy marshals shouting encouragement. Two good climbs and a fast descent had the 53 runners working up a sweat on a humid evening. Bofra champion Shaun Godsman came out on top followed by Darren Kay trailing by a few seconds. Good pub at the finish made for a beltin night ....cheers.

Thanks for a superb race last Dan, really enjoyed it. Great route and loved the descent to the finish. Big thanks also to all the marshals and helpers.
