Fortunately I wrapped up the M65 category for this year so don't have to "race" Wasdale which is just as well because I tweaked a calf on a recovery run the day after and haven't run since.
    When I used to do the odd Lakes race, I looked at the stats for this one and gave it a wide berth

    Well done - a great time given your first attempt at the race. One that is hard to judge for pace as all the climbing (and there is a lot of it) is very much front loaded.

    Hope the campervan went ok. We wouldn't be without ours.

    Nice one LB. I've never done this race. One to aim for once (if) I'm recovered.
