Would be even better in good weather although it does add a certain something to the photos.

Just watched the 2008 video - red hot, vests and less - can't believe it was run in the same month.

Thanks to all who helped put this on today. It is a great course

Ladies first. I do have a few Gentleman ethics. Nice to meet you too.

You were both smiling at the end and commenting how good the weather was for keeping us all cool.

Lindsey Mark and me were all just sharing jokes and enjoying the climb.

Lovely to meet you too Mr Stagger...and Dynamo Dan-top blokes who both symbolise what its all about and have a good laugh afterwards.
Ard Crags was aptly named for a bloody ard race yesterday!!! Thanks to everybody for their support (fellow runners, marshalls, supporters and walkers) who all chipped in and helped each other out in really quite scary conditions. The atmosphere in the café afterwards was memorable...complete strangers huddled together sharing pots of tea and stories of getting lost, almost getting hypothermia, helping out fellow runners in distress ...the general feeling was that no one seemed bothered about times and racing , it was all about getting home safely ...with Brian always in our minds. Thanks especially to Madge for running with me and keeping me going over Crag Hill when all I wanted to do was sit down and cry!

I was going to say something about you looking at her arse but that we just be rude....I heard you all talking and laughing going up (the nightmare causey pike) and wondered how you all had the energy ...Lindsey sailed past me on the rocks like a spring chicken...impressive.
