4 hours to go til this great new race - 10.1m and 2200 feet. The weather in the Brecon Beacons is a lot better than yesterday, though if I'm honest, I still cannot see the tops out of the window, and it is still raining, just not as hard as yesterday. There should be a pretty competitive line-up, with Mark Palmer, Andy Jones, Harry Matthews at the sharp end, so it will be interesting to see what kind of times are posted. In these conditions I think Mark P might do about 1:17, but the record should ultimately be under 1:10 when the ground is dry.
Anyone coming along...?
PS photos from Pen y Fan will be soon!
