I think you're right & that it is a repeat, but on Sunday ITV1 Granada there is a programme called "Wainwright Country". Fred Talbot is going to The Lakes & making "the tough climb up Eagle Crag".......sorry about the link.

I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
It is.
I've just watched Julia Whatsername walking up Scafell Pike on BBC4.
Nice to see what we ran up last month. Couldn't see a thing then!
Wouldn't have been worried at the top if I'd been able to see all around like she could.
Hope it's clear for you lot on the recce tomorrow but I wouldn't bank on it!
Beeb web site doesn't say it is.
Bloody dailup, tried to post this...
Wainwright - The Man Who Loved the Lakes
Fri 20 Jul, 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm 60mins
Documentary capturing the beauty of the English Lake District and tracing the life of writer and artist Alfred Wainwright, the eccentric Lancastrian who created a series of iconic fell-walking books which he hand-wrote, illustrated and published himself in the 1950s.
Celebrating the centenary of his birth, the film captures his passionate love affair with the Lakeland landscape and explores how his books have become guide-book classics for millions of fell-walkers.
Same as before. What a miserable beggar!
I told Mrs H there was a programme about a miserable b*ggar, going up to the hills, coming back filling in his diary and ignoring his wife...
I'll let you finish that joke by yourselves.
Fitness can't be stored. It must be earned over and over, indefinitely.
Yes nice views of the Scawfell /scarfell/ how do pronounce itfell . Joss was great , very non plussed by the BBC bird. She was motoring up wasn't she? Bet it was all in 5 min bursts for the camera. I still prefer The Corridor Route.
