Me and my mate Spencer are going to give it a go on the 13th of June. With any luck raise a bit of cash for the air ambulance. If anyone fancies chipping in with a pound go to "www.justgiving.com/Phillip.Atkins" We are going for a dual solo round if that makes sence. But We do have support waiting for us at the end of each leg. What's going to make things interesting is A- the lack of course knowledge. B- a GPS dependency (although not bad with map and compass) C- being flat landers from the midlands we have had to be a bit inventive with the training methods. And finally D- in running terms I've too many miles on the clock and spencer too few! On the plus side training is going very well, ticking along at about 35 miles and 8000ft a week at the mo and at a decent pace. We plan to start upping all that over the next few weeks. Thanks to all you guys on this forum for all the help you have given us. If your skint just wish us luck we're going to need it! Cheers Phil
