Apparently Stolly turned up to support on Leg 4, the heavens opened and they got rained off going up Yewbarrow, oh well...

Weather has been pretty good, perhaps a nav' error could have slowed then, Still it matters not now they are in the BG club.

Depends of course if they wish to join, not everyone does.
They are, I believe, the first Americans to do the round. These are also the first rounds of this year unless someone has slipped under the radar.

That Western States 100 they keep going on about must be a peice of P1ss compared to the BG then Splatcher, fancy popping over and having a crack?
I remember reading about another top American attempting a winter round and pulling out at Wasdale, sounded very tough going mind.

apparently one of them said it was harder than the Western States....
As for Americans doing the BGR: this guy lives in the States, not sure of his nationality, though...and he didn't complete it!
