Mens 4K was a cracker of a race. Lebid was a wily old fox.

Matt Barnes, secretary of Altrincham & District A.C., seemed to run the first lap near the back and then pick his way through the field. I think he finished 8th. He should be pleased with an excellent run (and he's top of the Forum Fantasy Football League!)

Just missed it! saw a bit of it on my neighbours tv as I was going in the drive. Rushed in put on the TV to see Jonathan Edwards closing remarks.

Although they seem to have found a location with a nice little hill and then organised a run round the bottom of it?

Looked like a good/proper XC course. Should be interesting watching the Worlds there next year.

Just hope that the BBC can sort out their transmission problems. There were times when I wanted to launch the remote control at the TV.

Transmission problems were caused by the high winds which hit the venue. The wind was very strong and caused many problems.
