Cheers, was very much a race of two halves, suprised how boggy that second half was. That long traversing descent looked lovely, I'll definately do the race next year. I trotted around with the two collies with the back marker. I tweaked my hamstring last night in football game, not bad, but enough to decide to take it easy and not risk it with the weekend in mind.
Sarah really enjoyed it her first mountain run for a while as she's still on a comeback from injury so was happy with the win, suprised neither of the Anna's were there.
First time I've been up there, nice area. I was going to try and race and hold back a bit, but know I'd get competitive, so decided to get the dogs out for a run and see the course for next year.
I should explain that the big posh landrover I was using isn't my car. I'm dog sitting for my parents so they've lent me that for a few days to transport around the 4 dogs, the race was an excuse to take that out for a drive.
I'll let you know how I get on on the PB, need a good weather forecast tommorrow.
