    Only as a dog and Calf is already in the doghouse.

    I don't think Daz H has got his dog yet and OWH wants to kidnap the new dog.

    Due to the outbreak of F&M, the government has placed a ban on livestock movement, shows etc, and this MAY apply to the sheepdog trials that the Teggs Nose race is part of. I'm heading off in a minute to go and see the trials organisers and see if they have to react to this or not. Any update on whether the race is affected will be posted here.

    OK, been down to talk to the sheepdog folks, and they are continuing with their event and that includes the fell race. Let's hope there are no further developments during the day that will change the situation!

    I struggled out there today, too many races or not enough training I reckon. Probably both! Good run out over somewhere new anyway.

    Nice to have a chat with Jackie Lee halfway round - shame she took two minutes out of me on the way back!
