One thing i've noticed on reps (and having a GPS watch has helped)

When you get several reps in and you think you're slowing down, it can be surprising that you're maintaining pace, or even speeding up... it's just the fatigue building.

It does encourage you to keep pushing the reps out.

9m speed endurance today. An ACW loop of Thruscross starting and finishing at the Swinsty car park.

I bonked at the 8m point which has never happened before, so i ended up walking in the last mile. Nutritionally i don't think i did anything any different to normal, so i'm not sure where this bonk came from. Fortunately the Hall Farm honesty box cake shed had a slab of coffee cake for 3 quid which i wolfed down in one go.

I'm still trying to get to grips with why i feel so slow on the leg across the moors. It comes right after a climb which is the most punishing and exhausting part of the route. I don't know if the undulating nature of the moor has anything to do with it, but i always struggle to get my legs moving consistently fast.

The mud does wind me up a bit, but I know what I should be doing and how hard I should be working on every leg. The quality is there.

Carr Bridge Drive reps last night, 0.25m 110', 7 reps.

I had another in me in my mind, but my body was weakening. Tightness down the left lateral knee and i could feel my left glute medius was tight in warmup.

Dunno, i don't have a watch gps personal aggravating/bothering device. I can time one rep on my Hanhart mechanical stopwatch for you next time.

No no, that is quite alright!

Just a little surprised that someone who is evidently so enthusiastic about training, isn't noting their rep times, particularly on a session that you do often...

Not saying it's wrong at all... just surprising... i'm not a religious user of gps and certainly will never use Strava... but i've got a fair idea of what my rep times should be on all my basic distances... 400/800/km/mile...
