What's needed is a mild amputation, I'll be heading up north tomorrow. Mick, if you can get yourself over to Blyth services on the A1(M) I'd be happy to help.

I've got a decent panel saw here that'd do the job. I'll give it a wipe down with an old tea cloth so it'll be sterile.

    Glad to help.

PS, bring a bit of wood and some string, you'll need it for the drive back.
Erm... It's fine now Shaunetto! Gave it 2 weeks no running and it was fine for the BG support this weekend.I'm guessing it was my new trainers that have little support. I've now got midge bites to contend with..

We even got midges on the summits on Sunday! My husbands fault for moaning about the wind when we had a week in Scotland.
Midges at LAMM were evil overnight. Took serious amounts of cream and anti histamine tablets to sort them out. then this weekend got more. Today on kids sponsored walk got lots of nettles and next weekend expect to get more midge bites as out with kids on DoE. I wish they didn't bite me, or at least they did not come up in huge lumps. Do midges have any useful purpose?

First time I'd had midges bite my eyeballs at Threlkeld this weekend.. Nasty!

You can massage your foot by using hot oils. It's a natural process of reducing pain in our country. During my childhood, my parents used this technique and i felt good.
