    Does that mean the series is starting all over again? Was it not on BBC then went to BBC4

    Only managed to catch 20 minutes of the penultimate one and all of the last one so would quite like to see it although to be honest last weeks episode has PUT ME RIGHT OFF doing Borrowdale

    Ach, Emmilou, don't be daft;

    i) Of course it's tough...that's what we all enjoy about fellrunning :-)
    ii) The only way to get better at these type of runs is to do them
    iii) The person who called us all "lightweights" is clearly a wind-up merchant and I think general opinion is pretty much against that point of view!

    Did Langdale last year and had a mare. It was tough, I twisted my knee early on and the traverse path under Esk Pike was rocky, slippy and downright horrible.....but boy am I glad I did it! And I'll be back to give it a decent go this year!

    Did anyone try going over Esk Pike in the end? It's worth thinking about if you hate the rough route.
