Nothing too dramatic, although it's been a good few years since I last used top pull cantilevers.
Can be a bit fiddly to set up really well. But it's been long enough since I used them to not know a good guide on how to set them up well. It will be pre-internet for me, I had an actual book at that time.
Still there's not too much too them, tbh.

Hi. I purchased the forme calver cx for exactly these reasons a month or so ago. Absolutely love it but I have nothing to compare it against. Commute on it a lot though it's not far, ventured a bit off road and completed a sprint tri on it with out looking a total fool! I wanted a bike also I could use all year etc and can't afford a garage full of bikes! Road tyres going on this week though!!
Good to hear of your positive experience with same bike. Reckon I'm likely to take the plunge later this week. Similarly likely to stick some slicks on. Keeping hybrid bike - decent enough frame & too much needs done to get a worthy price on selling (both wheels, tyres, bottom bracket & probably whole drivetrain needs overhaul - hence new bike being more worthwhile). Worth it for taking into town at night too as bike theft is all too common here.Originally Posted by agbasey
