    BT Vision

Any one have BT Vision?? If so any reviews...

I am going for it because of a "free" TV recorder (installed for £30) with features similar to Sky+ and PL and Scottish football for £12 per month

Nope, but I'm just trying out the bbc iplayer that lets you download programmes up to 7 days after they were on the air. Quality is OK... doesn't do all programmes though, just the bbc ones. (i.e. no films etc).

    How big are the downloads?
I realise it depends on the length of the program but what is the average size?

Does anyone know how this compairs to BT Vision?

Top Gear's polar special was an hour long and a 368MB file.
Picture quality was OK, but it may be better on other PC's because I've got software problems with my graphics acceleration.

The iplayer programmes download via peer to peer technology, so I expect once you have downloaded it, your PC may become a source for someone else to download from...

I registered for the BT iplayer at the weekend but have heard nothing yet.

I get my BT vision installed on thurs, but have read mixed reviews on web.
