Not too many outside of the UK...
Crete
Malta
Fuerteventura
Thailand
Not seen Thailand mentioned yet in this thread. When I was staying at gyms there had to run twice a day, generally 10km morning then 5km or sprints in the afternoon.
Morning runs were fairly straightforward due to getting up about 6am before it got hot. Afternoon runs were an absolute ordeal.
Running in Bangkok was hard, just running up and down a km long street over and over again. In Phuket it was gorgeous, some decent hills and paths into the jungle, although the latter included a few close encounters with snakes (luckily the one I annoyed I don't think was poisonous, but there were King Cobras and big Pythons about, so was very wary).
Fuerteventura absolutely stunning and ideal for running, as Corniceman mentioned earlier.
Hi Folks
Not many for me
Scotland
USA - Upstate NY
N Ireland
Rep of Ireland
But as for something different has anybody done multiple countries in the one run
I ran the Flagstaff to Carlingford Race which looking at my Garmin details I crossed the border between NI and ROI 3 times
Bernie Rhodes "Knows Don't Argue"
No-one else has mentioned Singapore yet. Although much of the country is a concrete jungle, I was staying at my brother-in-law's flat which is only 10 minutes' run from MacRitchie Reservoir Park where there is a very pleasant undulating track through the forest (and a "Beware of crocodiles" sign on the path to Peirce reservoir!). The heat is tolerable in December/January because there are heavy showers most afternoons: unlike in the UK, in Singapore I waited for the dark clouds to come over and then went for a run!
