Clan warfare. It's what Scotland did before the Union.

It still goes on now. On a business trip a few years ago I was on South Uist and with a prospective local distributoe. Later on I gave out a few samples at a local harbour I had a little interest and advised them where they could buy them.
No chance, we won't buy there, it's a clan thing.
As if I would realistically have 2 competing distributors on the Uists!!
