It's an omen. You've gotta do it now.

Postal closing date tomorrow for this.

As I'm taking the day off work tomorrow I'll probably drive over, run around the course then hand-deliver my entry form

What day is it? Just got back from Northern Ireland and drying out my tent! Don't worry MT there's a lot of scope for entries on the day. See you there.

I managed to get over there on Friday GD, parked along Park Lane and ran all bar the start/finish field. Even though the course was relatively dry then the bog was on good form (personally i think you should make everyone run straight through it).

    Number arrived yesterday (No.135).

Right that's my risk assessment done Totally agree about the bog. One of the finest in the lowlands what a waste to make people run round it.

Good race today, warm and breezy and with the bog on form!!

Happy with my time of 45.25 given recent lack of training (chatting to a couple of Daleside's speedy mates from CA beforehand I'd said anything betweeen 45 & 50 would do).

Thanks to GD and all his team of marshals etc, good to have a brief chat/interview(did it actually come out over the tannoy?!) with GD after finishing.

Nice to meet you MT. Glad you enjoyed the race. I've just got in. Found the scraps from the hog roast were too good for the dog so just enjoyed a scrumptious pork tea. Loads tried the bog this year without significant mishap apart from a friend of mine who came back clarted in smelly grey mud all down one side. A couple of regrettable mistakes over results mainly because we were trying to be too quick. We'll take our time and get it right next year.
glenn: only one Skipton AC finisher explain please.
The tannoy is owned by the band (my sort of music by the way) and works perfectly for them but not for me Come along to Wetherby 10K on the 13th to hear a better version

    Hi GD..Yep,great race yesterday.
Was'nt feeling too on form but pleased with my position...

Regarding Skipton AC..its only the wife who's the member. She's new to the club so we're really a little unsure how well they are represented at local races.
I run for 'East Cheshire' as I still live in Manchester during the week.

Great day anyway...the weather was pretty kind given what it was like.

I should have made myself known to you...but it was a little chaotic...ah well, next time.
