my mum in her wisdom has presented me with a cool box with a radio fitted to it.

apparantly when ive finished a fell race i can sit back in the car ( which has a radio/ 6xcd changer ) and listen to this radion whilst i sip a cold diet coke

My parents bought me 4 glasses from Tesco last week. They used to turn up with all the crap from their house which they didn't want and I "might find useful". One of the boxes of junk was 10 glasses - all of which I have broken over the years. So having moaned at them for dumping crap on me, and having succeeded in getting rid of the crap, they have now replaced the crap that I got rid of with more crap!

Go figure!

I had a mug that played the match of the day theme every time you lifted it.
bloody did my head in, so i ripped out the console at the bottom.
thing was, i was only getting two thirds of a normal mugs worth.

suppose football is a mugs game though!

I have a pair of size 9 ice skates sitting in the cpboard that my dad bought for himself in the 60s when he lived in Newfoundland. He has given them me last month "in case they come in use"... WTF??
I did tell him there isn't much call for owning your own skates, even though the weather gets bad here, the River Irwell doesn't usually freeze over enough to skate on!!
