    I think he's only the third Winter Paddy Buckley finisher and that this is a new record (after Martin Stone's December 1989 round in 23:40 and Iain Ridgeway's solo round in 25:30 in December 2012). I'm prepared to be corrected though!
    The land at the end of our toes goes on and on and on.

    Picture of Tom on the Moel Hebog leg. He added some words to this picture and has said it's OK to post them here:



    " ..... On the Moel Hebog leg, almost no snow on the Southern flanks. Snowdon, the Glyders and Tryfan, and the Carneddau were to be very different. My solo journey from Glyder Fawr to Idwal is probably the most risky thing I have done on a mountain. Deep drifts, freezing fog almost zero visibility, treacherous terrain desperately hard navigation, huge wind chill and fatigue is not a good mix!"

    Tom is a modest lad and not given to overstatement. What an achievement!
