Try SHR website. Sorry I do not have the address as I am on holiday.

Sorry to point out the obvious but have you tried here?

My best advice is to stay locally, or get the missus to drive, as there is usually a free keg for the quoffing after the race.

    More details for you here

As you can see it is an A to B. If you park at Broughton the coach takes you to Traquair House for the start. If you park at Traquair make sure you a way of getting back.

Up and down four valleys with a killer climb near the end. That said well worth doing even if only for the hottest and thickest soup at the end and yes...there is free beer as well. What more incentive do you need?

You must pre-enter by September 15 oh and by the way everyone's kit is checked before the start.

    Re: Two Breweries

Just thought I'd resurrect this old thread as I ran it at the weekend.

I can confirm that they do indeed still have the hugest cauldron of minestrone soup I've ever seen at the end, still have free beer and *still* have a killer of a hill at the end.

The organisation was brilliant, the weather great (if a bit windy in places) and the marshals marvelous. Sadly I had to rush off after the race to be elsewhere but I'm sure a good time was had by all at the prize-giving.

Regarding the course, a bit much heather bashing for my liking but then I'm a bit of a wuss so that shouldn't put anyone off doing it at least once as it's a classic race. Next year I'll enter as Bonnie Prince Charlie and see if they open the gates of Traquair house for me.
