I have no problem with that, I only mentioned the traditional route for anyone who might like to compare their time with records.

I wish I was of the ability for my times to be comparable to the records! We will be doing Crib Goch first. I just wanna get round in under 10. Thanks for you help chaps.

I had a bit of an impromptu run around the Welsh 3000s yesterday so thought I'd post my timings here if they're are any use to anyone. 10:31 from start to finish, 8:34 summit-to-summit. My pace was basically walk the uphills, jog the flat (until the last few summits when I realised I still had a fair bit of energy left). Very wet and windy until Glyder Fawr and then it cleared up (still windy though). Started at 7:40am.

    Pen-y-Pass: 0:00
    Crib Goch: 0:54
    Garnedd Ugain: 1:28
    Snowdon: 1:39
Nant Peris car park (arr): 2:28
Nant Peris car park (dep): 2:36
    Elidir Fawr bridge: 2:58
    Elidir Fawr: 3:43
    Y Garn: 4:26
    Llyn y Cwn: 4:37
    Glyder Fawr: 5:00
    Glyder Fach: 5:18
    Tryfan: 5:50
    Ogwen (arr): 6:14
    Ogwen (dep): 6:41
    Pen yr Ole Wen: 7:41
    Carnedd Dafydd: 7:58
    Yr Elen: 8:37
    Carnedd Llewellyn: 8:57
    Foel Grach: 9:10
    Garnedd Uchaf: 9:17
    Foel Fras: 9:28
    Bont Newydd car park: 10:31

Route-wise, I went down the Cwm Glas Bach descent from Snowdon (Clogwyn station) and up the western nose of Pen yr Ole Wen.
