    Corniceman,

a couple of friends have done this recently - both strong and fit guys
one did the 7 in 3 hours ( I guess from the top car park )
the other did the 8 in 5:25 having a fair bit of snow cover to contend with.

you're maybe looking at a 3rd of a BG - so perhaps a quarter of the time to get round it - 6 hours (given you shouldn't have any snow on the ground by July ) ?

I've done the Lawers 7 from Camusvrachan in Glen Lyon twice.

Almost a horseshoe route apart from the initial trek out to Meall Greg the easternmost Munro.

Have thought about starting from there and doing the Lyon hills first but not fit enough for anything like that right now.

Walked Ben Lawers a couple of years ago with the family. A stunning peak!

    I did a round of 13 Corbetts in 2012.

Simon, can't reply to you with quote/link back to your OP here because the board's throwing a PHP error when I 'go advanced', but check out Day 13 of Spyke's Munro round (12 Munros: Schiehallion, Glen Lyon and Ben Lawers)...

Thanks Pete. I will probably play safe and go for the 4 Glen Lyons and the 7 Ben Lawers. I am really not the same runner as in 2011 Ramsey etc and even a trot up and down Foel Fras last week (12 mile) was uncomfortable on my knees. I expect to be crocked from this day out!

I had a cracking day in Knoydart yesterday 4 munros over 9 hours...not a person in sight, it leaves you feeling very small and insignificant...about 20 miles and 8,000ft. report to follow
