I've camped at the col between Sgurr na Ciche and Garbh Chioch Mhor. Got great sunset pics from the top of Sgurr na Ciche.
Need to head back in there, great part of the world, Sourlies bothy is a decent place to stay as well at the foot of the SW ( or is it W ? ) ridge of Sgurr na Ciche
Just to confirm, on Spyke's munro round the route was linear. It was an excellent day oot! :-)
I followed a similar route the year before last but continued over Sgurr an Fhuarain to Gairich. The ridge is great but the return to Strathan was hard work. 38k and 3300m.
Can anyone recommend camping in Glen Lyon? How id wild camping viewed. Will probably just want Friday night.
Are you meaning roadside car camping? Probably fine away from the Invervar/Fortingall eastern end of the glen, should find plenty suitable spots.
If it's 'proper' wild camping up into the hills no problem.

Yes Ian I really like doing that to and probably best option for us.
Plenty of spots on the road between Glen Lyon and the Ben Lawers visitor centre
