    Foot taping....

Has anyone had any luck finding Tincture of Benzoin? I struggle with blisters and have read about using tincture of benzoin with Kinesio tex tape but i can't find it anywhere.

I believe its been discontinued but does anyone use anything (an additional adhesive) prior to taping their feet? If so what do you use?

Thanks in advance for any help

It's not an answer to your post but I find sanding away callouses on the feet and moisturising with a beeswax based cream is very beneficial for stopping blisters forming.
I always used to use this http://www.bananafingers.co.uk/climb...bar-p-647.html
    But now use http://www.chainbridgehoney.co.uk/Sk...d-50g/p-6-4-14

Benzines are carcinogenic, i'd swerve it if it's Benzine based. Tensospray is very good as an adhesion promoter, try that.

Over the years I have taped and known dozens who have taped feet (single toes through to virtually the whole foot and also backs when wearing daysacs or bergens) and the preferred tape has always been zinc oxide. Best used in several thin strips to cover a heal or problematic area rather than a single wide strip.
