    Replacement for Montrail

I had a pair of Montrail Highlanders which were great for drier days, then they stopped making them.

    I've seen these; http://www.sportsshoes.com/product/m...s/#description

anyone worn them? look like a good price if they're any good

the quest to discover a replacement for the highlander....the holy grail..

not as much protection around the foot but maybe worth a punt at that price.

Decent enough, feel comfortable on road, trail & hill, but not as well cushioned as the Highlanders were.

Absolutely superb for the price. Great summer trail shoe and stand a bit of tarmac. Get overfaced by too much mud. I'd recommend going up 1/2 size - quite snug.
