What do others do to get out those last reserves of energy in a race, ie when its a sprint finish or u are completely shattered and have to go on. i swear at myself, seems to work. also try and remember inspirational songs, any other tips, methods?

Lol, forgot my fish and chips, maybe if i did some welding like alf. Why was he always welding things? On the other tack, that song 'what have you done today to make you feel proud' works for me. What i'm after doing is the part when you think you can't do anymore, can't run any harder, but it's only your mind, your body can. How does one get from there? Its like letting go .
