    Kettlewell Anniversary

    Hi all,

Just a reminder that this Thursday evening is the Kettlewell Anniversary fell race (formerly Abbey Anniversary). Now being run by North Leeds FR.

    www.nlfr.co.uk/races/

Classic Dales running - highly runnable steep ups and downs (no flat!)

Good weather is, as usual, guaranteed.

Hope to see you all there.

Without going into the politics too much, some within Abbey Runners wanted to move the club from our base of the past 10 years+ for various reasons. They "won," moved the club and those of us who didn't want to move didn't. Being mostly fell runners, we came to the decision to set up a new club, focussed on fell and offroad running. And so North Leeds Fell Runners was born.

The RO joined the new club and brought the race with him.

Hope everyone enjoyed it last night. I enjoyed the downs and the weather, not so much the ups...(legs wouldn't work)

I am led to believe that results will be up on the website some time this evening (but don't shoot the messenger if not...)
