    Jez Bragg: Ramsay

Jez is attempting a fast Ramsay and set off early this morning.
He's carrying a tracker, so us armchair folks can procrastinate at work.

Jesus, I had similar weather but slightly cooler for Tranter's round last year and it nearly killed me. A shade under 7 hours to Fersit is none too shabby, hope he can keep it up.

I guess this is Jez's way of tapering for Dragon's Back in 10 days?

Nuts eh? I thought I was being reckless doing an 80 minute muck about race last night.

Jez looks like he is still going well. According to the tracker about 10 hours to Beinn Na Lap, which is the same as Nicky did last year when she did the second fastest ever time. Jez normally finishes very strongly will he be able to beat Nicky's time or even get close to the record?

The start time on the tracker has been corrected to 3am. So it looks like Jez was 30 minutes up on Nicky at the Treig Dam and Beinn Na Lap.

ba-ba - yep not much call for coverage around there.. don't expect to see much until 14:30 / 15:00 then should be good till the finish... fingers crossed. Seeing the live data until that point out of 10 hours of running I'd say about 20 mins of the route was without coverage.

The Abhainn Rath is a pretty remote feeling area despite being only a few kilometres from habitation, lovely to walk, run, bike through though.

Tracker reappeared as Jez got to the col between Luibelt and Loch Eilde. So he's got 12hrs45 to do the Mamores ... (or maybe a bit quicker to get the record!)
