Thinking of doing this tonight, but might be tight on time. Will I need to register for the summer race series as well as the race?
Assume trail shoes?

You will need to register for the series but i believe you can prefill in a standard FRA entry form and take it with you to save some time. Trail shoes should be fine, it has been dry the last few days and there is a lot of road and tracks on the route.

I reckon you could get away with roadies if it's been dry, a lot of road and hard trail on this one.

Cheers Nick, it was very hard packed, got some blisters from the fast downhill section in my trail shoes (which is quite unusual). Lovely race though.
