Aye, well done indeed. Looks like a cracking race with all the changes in position - looks like there will have been some rapid descending too.

Out of interest, did Rob Hope not get selected for England or did he choose to run for his sponsor? I don't think it matters personally, I'm guessing Andi Jones chose to do similarly in the past running for Adidas, fair enough really as I don't imagine fell & mountain running is particularly lucrative for those at the top, short of some free gear.

I think there was a trial race - maybe Rob didn't do that?

Interesting that at club level we get all this 1st claim / 2md claim stuff to contend with. What is Team Salomon? Is it a UKA registered club?
I think it's one of the few Welsh Athletics mountain events and therefore UKA rules apply, so I'd have thought it was run for your country or run for your club.

Yep well done to B-en-gland at Snowdon. He gives his all. No fear descending. Saw the usual foot injuries too. Toes smashed, skin lost on heels and blisters. Every year i run in different shoes but still undecided. Anyone? Rob missed intercounties but still seemed a bit odd. There must be procedures. Luv the 1st claim malarky. Every year im gettin this hassle when all i wanna do is run. Fell for 1 club, cc for my other. Anyway grt atmosfear n support n cowbells galore. If i take 2 n 1/2 mins off my times then my best effort yet just behind the England lads. Not bad

Apologies for hijacking Stags Snowden? thread but I am about to join a new club, I never resigned from my previous club, just stopped paying my subs a couple of years ago. Can I start running first claim for my new club straight away?

We just had someone join us who'd lapsed 4 years ago from their previous club and we were unable to sign him up without contacting the EA membership team.

It should be OK, but might be worthwhile contacting your old club and asking the membership secretary there if they resigned you - they should have done.
