Every finisher got an Eccles cake.

I got a £5.00 sports shop voucher for 1st vet. It will cost more than that to get to the shop to use it.

As mentioned by thegnigma, there was an Eccles Cake for every finisher.

I don't think the cake is named after Eccles Pike but the town of Eccles in Lancashire.

At the risk of irking someone, aren't Eccles and Chorley Cakes the same thing?
Visibility good except in Hill Fog

Chorley usually have less sugar but the main difference is in the pastry. Eccles are flaky pastry while Chorley are shortcrust.
