13.53 !? Still have no idea how he did that. Apparently he had a 15 min break at honister on the way! 23 is fine, but 23.59 just as good. My number is 07753170561.

    yep, me too, low-key-ish

one idea I have soon, after the clocks go back and it starts getting dark about 5pm (and hopefully before significant snow) is to go and recce Leg 1 in the dark - anybody fancy that...?

I live near Manchester Airport, so multiple car-share looks on the cards

Mid-week is better for me, but can manage occasional weekend day

What's with all the low-key solo-ish thoughts? Low key, and more importantly flexible is good. But solo-ish?

For me it's because I don't like running in large groups. 2 or 3 together is ideal and perhaps I like the idea of a "band of brothers"

Four is a good number. With a couple on the road

Seems a few of us live in a similar area so should be good for the record. Would be interested in a night run over the Dodds. Depends on my fitness as not run much for a few months.

I can also make mid weeks, just have to rearrange my work

Is it worth having a list of who we are and where we live etc

Quite if it's a low key Round what's it doing on the Internet. For me the BG was all about the recces and meeting new people and then being supported and supporting them on their attempt. If you want to do it low key then do it, but don't then blog about it, no longer low key...
