Im attempting a 2nd return to running after 3 attempts of corrective surgery on my back (specifically L5 S1.)
Ive walked my 3 dogs on the same route for years in rural northumberland. Its a 4 mile loop with 700 foot of elevation. Im thinking of following a training plan to get me up to marathon distance for February (ive ran a few marathons already & my last race was a 35 mile ultra at the end of March 2015 im also a member of a running club)
Can i use my miles & elevation on my dog walk as "logged miles" for my training plan?
