    Off road baby buggies

    Hi all,

Does any one have any experience in off road style running buggies? I'm looking to get one for my 18month old daughter.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

We bought a BabyJogger branded one - from eBay, so I can't tell you the model. Pneumatic tyres are a must though,

I managed to run with our elder daughter until she whas about 30 months, but that was getting to be a bit of a struggle!

Can you get one with a motor hidden in the chassis?

Ah. That'll be the Froome model.

Matthew, I'm just busy looking after our wee one at the mo, but I'll get you details of ours later. We went for the all-singing. all-dancing, off-road buggy because of where we live and where we run. It's been great.

I am mightily impressed that you can get your 18-month old to stay in it while you run. Ishbel used to love it when she was tiny but wouldn't stand for it now she's 2

Had a chance to check now - we got the Mountain Buggy Terrain. Not cheap but you do get what you pay for and it's survived some fairly brutal trots out on rough paths. A couple of wee gripes but mostly top class. Needs treating like a bike and a bit of oil on it occasionally, but it's a cracking piece of kit.
