    How do Oldies train.

How do Oldies train, and by oldies I mean 65+,
Do you train mainly on the roads or off road and how often, do you do other training, swimming or biking or maybe some gym work. I'm 70 and would like your feed back
    Cheers

I think "mature runners" might have been less presumptuous than "oldies", especially from someone who claims to be a mere 70.

Sorry Graham, I agree with you, I was struggling with a title, I stand corrected

Well as long as you don't pass me in a race you are forgiven.

'Pass' isn't in my race vocabulary these day

Never mind the gym or the road, train on the hills! Use your advantage of not having to go to work every morning

I know a pretty good 65-year-old. He seems to do a lot of running and I don't think it's on roads. He also does yoga.

I hope I'm still getting out running when I'm 70. You're an inspiration to us mere middle-aged runners.

Some of us like to think we are quite young at 70!
