It's what we've got so we crack on and adapt, personally I am quite positive about the long term future. No point moaning about it any longer, that won't get anyone anywhere.

Well I'm pleased we've avoided a no deal - I'm guessing others are too. Yes, onwards and upwards.

Looking forward to the Free Ports. Manufacturing could make a comeback.

Manufacturing should be key, and preferably with some incentive to keep work in the UK and not simply where labour is cheap.

Interesting that Gibraltar is to be in Shengan (I wish that didn't sound so Chinese).

It could be interesting to see the approach to borders if Scotland gets independence and re-joins the EU.

They're not morons, they just think European food is far too cheap in this country, and that our export industries are getting away with far too little paperwork.

Spot on Noel. I voted remain and was really cut-up by the referendum result, but now we're out, we're out, so let's make the very best of it. My concern (and one of several reasons I voted the way I did) was what I see as the looming global threat of China, or more accurately, the Chinese Communist Party. We need to be extremely economically strong and independent (and militarily robust) to contend with those bullies.

Have a like! But it should encourage less foreign travel.

Brexit itself has failed. The tories had an illusion that we could still have our cake and eat it for free but what we’ve actually got is peanuts, huge costs, reduced economic potential and a shit load of added red tape.

This article from the Guardian nails it https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...e_iOSApp_Other
