    Penistone hill car park

Whilst out mtb'ing around Oxenhope I noticed a massive 10m wooden box type of structure being constructed at the top car park opposite the cricket pavilion.
Does anyone know what's going on?

The structure is temporary, the BBC are doing a drama about the Bronte's and are building a replica of the Bronte Parsonage there, they say filming will all be finished by the end of May/June, weather dependant!

Cheers Dave. I hope the BBC know how windy it can get up there. There's every chance the structure might get blown away by the next storm........

A new discussion thread: 'TV sets in carparks known to Fellrunners'?

A set for 'The Village' was set up in the carpark of The Royal Hotel in Hayfield, where Pennine meet every Thursday night.

An obscure one from 1984. The set of 'Bootle Saddles' was constructed up Crowden Valley near the Holme Moss race route.
