    Creating your own maps.

    Hello chaps and chapettes.

I'm interested to see if you guys know of an easy way of overlaying a gpx file onto an OS map in order to create your own route maps? I've managed to find an online site that uploads gpx's, which I can then 'snip' and paste into any number of programs for printing off, but is there a recognised and correct way of doing this?

    Cheers in advance.

If you have a jpeg of your OS map then Quick Route is great. Used by a lot of orienteers to see whether the control was in the wrong place and to confirm it was them in the wrong place all along! Free download, easy to use. http://www.matstroeng.se/quickroute/en/
