    Kendal Duathlon

Have been thinking about doing a Duathlon for a while. Has anyone done this one?

I should imagine the course may be fairly undulating as it starts in Shap.

I reckon the biking bit is going to let me down badly. I think 1-15 to 1-20 for the bike section is the best I can hope for at the moment.

I thought it would be a perfect distance for my first time, slightly worried about the transition from cycling to running.

The Coed-y-brenin off road duathlon sounds interesting, what are the distances involved?

I think if it's fairly local to you have a go and see how you like the format. Think my ideal format would be 5 mile road run, 30 bike and then a 5 or 6 mile fell with 1800' climbing. If you see one advertised let me know.....
