Brilliant running
Brilliant running
This is probably the wrong thread but all 3 now together.
Yes, it is the wrong thread because, as I stated in my original post,
[I'm not sure why I said "overseas". Indeed, a friend of mine in Loughborough entered the National Forest 75 as his first ultra last year and was the first man to finish, but there were two women ahead of him.]
Jasmin Paris winning the Spine Race outright would be one of the least surprising fell/ultra running results of 2019.]
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.
Jorge Luis Borges
I believe Nicola Jackson of Ribble Valley came 3rd overall at the Trigger yesterday.
Travs, she certainly did, 3rd Runner at the Finish!! I was assisting a with the finish for a while and she just cruised in, absolutely brilliant run by Nicola in some really tough stormy conditions!! Very well done to all who made it happen yesterday, it really is a true classic "race"!!
Miss Muddy Paws Dad....
Not clever & often stupid..
Luv Shack... i was 'number 2' who had retired at Snake and handed my number in at the finish, i expect i was one of the first retirees back at Edale.
The first two had arrived and were in the campsite showers, so i expect i was there around a similar time that Nicola finished.
All downhill and an 8-mile gap over 2nd (1st man ) for Jasmin. I feel there'll be some press attention coming up!

Spoty 2019?
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
She's finished! Incredible performance and a well deserved win (and rest!!!!!).
She is clearly made of different stuff :-)
Just Jasmin doing what Jasmin does.
