Moel Fammau Monday 27 Aug

Is anyone running this race on Bank Holiday Monday starting at 1.00pm? its part of the Cilcain Village show Nr Mold Flintshire. A 4 miles+/1237ft fell race. Does anyone know the route for it?

Welsh harrier will be along to give you full details but it is a lovely race. Fast but tough. The only real nav problem is the descent to the check point prior to the scree gulley back up to Fammau. The path is not not obvious and there is mucho bracken. Folks had probs last year so it may be marked this year. Lets hope so.

I think you're mistaking this for the Clywdian Hills race. This one the the straight up and down psycho nutter race that doesn;t go anywhere near the gully.

I'll be having a go, my local race just up the road. This was my first ever race last year so looking at bettering my time this year.

Great course, but in the past it's been a rip-off & a bit poorly organised at the finish.

Just back from my hols & haven't ran for a week due to my glass back giving out, if it eases off a bit I might try a wee jog later today & go over to Cilcain tomorrow.

Come in first now that would be wishful thinking!! Not sure if Brandon is doing this one? did mention it to him at work on Thursday. Itching to try the new Canon EOS 400D Camera that arrived on Friday.

great camera:d will be a good learning curve with it too, i'll bring my 400d and show you what equipment I have etc (if interested).
