Thread: Brexit

[QUOTE=Oracle;649032]Anyway, I am done here. I thought people might be actually interested in the desparate state of the macroeconomics of the EU and the disaster of historic currency unions, proved again by the euro. The social deprivation it causes, that all remainers knowingly or unkowingly support. Also The imminent collapse of Italian bond markets, with them their banks, and possibly some of ours.

I'm surprised that Macron hasn't blamed the Notre Dame fire on Brexit, but there is still time.

The BBC are lapping it up though. The first 15 minutes of the 6 o'clock news devoted to it for some reason as if it was in London. I would have thought we have enough going on over here for them to report on rather than going overboard about a church roof on fire.

Just more evidence of the BBC's love affair with Europe.

I think they managed to put the fire out “despite Brexit”.

I think we need some evidence that the BBC is showing undue interest in events elsewhere in Europe. Llani, go and set fire to Westminster Abbey, and then monitor the French television news to check whether their coverage is less than BBC has given to Notre Dame.

(Is it just me who is) Surprised by how many buildings undergoing renovation catch on fire when the renovation is almost complete leading to the need for...more extensive renovation?

Ahhh, roll on Brexit, only British news, about British things, it’ll be great, none of that news from the rest of the world, how lovely
