It looks almost certain to me.

I think this week, May's deal will be defeated again, MP's will then vote to exclude "no deal" and then vote to compel the Government to extend Article 50.

My prediction is that eventually we will end up with Norway plus, retaining membership of the single market and the customs union. Personally I think that will be a travesty of a Brexit but it is where I think we will end up given the composition of MP's in the Commons and peers in the Lords.

I had been wondering how your canoe trip was logged in Strava as a run - that makes sense.

You won't be surprised to know I disagree. I think it would suit very few people - big business maybe.

It doesn't suit leavers because it doesn't achieve any of the main reasons for leaving, sovereignty, trade deals etc. It's not ideal for remainers either because we'd still not be in the EU.

It's the worst of all worlds.

The population doesn’t know it’s arse from its elbow just at the minute.

There’s a fair chance once they’re offered a comprehensible picture of a (any) destination that may change in either direction.

    I’m not holding my breath.

    Well, you seem sure.

Can you itemise the upcoming events and what our future dealings with the EU will look like along with next weeks winning lottery numbers? 🤔

Who's livelihood relies on the success of big business? Would it be the population by any chance.

So are you saying stuff what the people want, it's only the view of big business that counts?

In any case, as I've said before big business loves the EU because of all the lovely regulations that can be used as a barrier to entry for smaller more entrepreneurial businesses.

SME’s are the largest private sector employers iirc? (Google says so but only glancing)

How reliant those SMEs are on big business is another thing.
