    Looking at this list, a certain theme emerged. First completion was by a woman, Wendy Dodds. Seven years later, another woman, Helene Diamantides, lowered the record by nearly two hours. The next record-breaking run after that was also by a woman, Anne Stentiford. And four of the eight sub-20-hour runs have been by women.

    Well, with the BG you have to have a witness. To me it does not matter as I am perfectly happy to accept someboy's word on it.

    When Paddy established the 'Welsh Classical Round' he stated that a successful completion does not have to be under 24 hours. The first person to complete the Round, Wendy Dodds, took over 24 hours.
