Ya I had a bit of fun there, I suppose the obvious thing is to hop over the gate, but then it is right tussock bashing to the plateau. There are bits of trods in places and a number of groughs to aim towards, just a matter of picking the correct one. I was quite a bit too far south (in the strava plot above) when I hit the plateau and had to swing north to get to the "check point".Originally Posted by GeoffB
