    Got to Keswick and the market square was pretty busy. By the time he arrived there were close to a thousand there. Chatting to Billy Bland he said there were just six there at the finish when he posted his time.

    And he was still getting top 10 in segments up to Honister on a ‘morning run’. If only I’d not had the garden bench to fix...

    Incredible. A suitably awesome effort to top Billy's legendary marker. Will it ever be beaten? Surely no-one in the UK at the moment could get anywhere near it, and it's probably a little esoteric for other big world names to have a pop.

    It appears he did Halls Fell - he could have shaved off another 2 mins had anyone been around to show him the parachute.
